Here are some notes to your future self. Read these before you put your love, trust & time in a human. There are bad people in this world, they're as commonplace as the good ones. Respect isn't something you have to beg of someone, it's your right. Existing isn't enough of a reason to fall for someone, they should be loved for the things they do for you, their commitment and the way they make you feel. Don't fear abandonment. People come and go, that's the nature of life. Your peace of mind is the ultimate goal. Act from a place of empowerment, not fear. Don't love anyone more than yourself.
